TLC's RLC-3 DC Earns 2005 Best of the Best

October 5, 2005 – Officials at TLC (Total Logistic Control), announced today that the company’s Rochelle Logistic Center III facility has recently been named “Best of the Best” by Con Agra Foods. The RLC III facility was one of six temperature controlled facilities up for the award, with two of the six being operated by TLC.
The Best of the Best award is given to the distribution center that provides exceptional service to the customer. Each distribution center was rated on its performance in the areas of warehouse quality, such as warehouse damage, cycle count accuracy, and count back accuracy; direct hourly labor efficiency, and cost per case efficiency. TLC was ranked #1 in two of the three areas, and ranked #1 overall.
“Our facility has had a very successful startup,” said Greg Wells, Facility Manager of TLC’s Rochelle Logistic Center III. “This award is a great reflection of the hard work, commitment, and focus of our team. The RLC III team is both excited and proud of our accomplishment. We are focused on winning the Best of the Best award again in the next quarter.”

TLC’s 349,000 sq. ft. RLC III facility supports this Fortune 100 food company’s Frozen Retail and Culinary foods division, providing warehousing services for a diverse family of retail products destined for grocery stores throughout the region.

It is not uncommon for TLC to be recognized by the company’s customers for outstanding performance.
