Maple Leaf Bakery Awards TLC Multi-Year Transportation Contract


Leading LSP Poised to Impact Maple Leaf's Growth

Zeeland, MI -- TLC (Total Logistic Control), a leading supply chain services provider, has been awarded a multi-year contract by Maple Leaf Bakery to manage their North American transportation and logistics needs. Maple Leaf, a leading manufacturer of fresh and frozen breads, chose TLC as “the best strategic match for their future business growth.”

Under the contract’s terms, TLC will manage Maple Leaf’s transportation from multiple production and distribution facilities throughout North America. TLC’s TM-One System will provide Maple Leaf Bakery with transportation management capabilities, including: securing a carrier base, shipment execution, load optimization, freight bill audit / pay, visibility, optimization, electronic tendering, information sharing and claims management. The two companies are working jointly in meeting Maple Leaf’s cost savings, service improvement and growth objectives.
