January 8, 2009 - TLC awarded Dedicated Warehousing and Transportation for Bay Valley Foods:

Bay Valley Foods is undertaking an initiative to construct a 600,000 square foot warehouse in Rochelle, IL to begin operations later this month. The new distribution center will be built according to guidelines established by USGBC for LEED certification. This facility will function as a mixing center for multiple product lines that currently have varying logistics channels.

The facility allows Bay Valley to provide consolidated deliveries to their customers while lowering overall supply chain costs. Additionally, the facility will label soup produced from Bay Valley’s nearby production plant. A dedicated shuttle will be used to support inbound product from regional manufacturing locations.
