TLC Shares Resources with Nonprofit
Holland, Mich. (December 22, 2008) – Total Logistic Control (TLC), a Holland-based warehousing and transportation management company, has partnered with Pathways, MI, a local non-profit that provides life-transforming services to children, families and communities.
As part of its ongoing commitment to support the communities in which its associates live and work, TLC will donate excess office furniture, supplies and equipment to Pathways, MI, in addition to providing a financial contribution. Pathways, MI will use the contribution to support its Counseling, Child Welfare, Early Childhood and Family Support programs.
Jeanette Hoyer, Executive Director at Pathways, MI, sees the value of this gift beyond its use in her organization, “Many in our community are facing economic hardships, and we know that our traditional funding sources are facing challenges, too. Understandably, some are cutting back on their charitable giving. We are delighted that TLC recognizes the important role we play in supporting those who are struggling in our community and made the decision not only to financially contribute to our cause, but also identified an innovative way to give through their available resources.”
TLC plans to deliver their donation to the Pathways, MI before the New Year.
