October 21, 2008 - TLC welcomes new client Niemann Foods

Who is Niemann Foods?
Niemann Foods of Quincy, Illinois is a full service grocery chain with stores in the Midwest. They operate grocery stores, pet supply stores, convenience stores, gas stations and liquor stores in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.

How does TLC come into play?

Niemann Foods wanted a provider that could help them redesign their delivery routes on the northern Illinois and eastern Missouri stores. TLC was able to create a new route structure that allowed Niemann’s to work with each store and change the previous delivery dates. Our solution lowered the total cost per mile as well as take loads out of the previous system for Niemann’s by combining 12 stores into a collective fleet operation. TLC started operation of this fleet on October 5, 2008.
